being that young try to do things that have them moving around, such as putting pictures on the wall and have them search for them (you can also turn out the lights, and give them a flashlight). You could put pictures in easter eggs and go on a hunt. When I was in clinic we had a plastic bowling set and I would put cards under the pins, after rolling the ball, the child would say whatever cards were under the fallen pins. You can play hide and go seek where you each take a turn hiding an object with the target sound and you have to find it. These are all things I have done in the past and seem to work.
