Over my head - Student with CP

I have student with CP that is currently using an aug. device. This student does not have good breath support or posture and only verbalizes /kay/, /mama/, /sis/. This student just came on my caseload and I am in over my head!! Does anyone have any suggestions on where to begin?? I don't even know what breath exercises I should work on or sounds to start with. ANYTHING you can tell me would be helpful.
