I have been doing child generated interviews with our staff and peers. The children develop questions they want to ask and I write them down. When we interview peers/staff, I give them prompts to remind them what to ask. I always give a reminder before we start that we are focusing on ____ sound today. This usually starts a conversation with the person being interviewed and allows the student to work on conversation skills with peers/adults. They love it. Works VERY well with the older students that can read. I do all of the other things that you mentioned...anxious to see others input
