Thank you both so much for your advice. The types of prolongations this little guy is demonstrating are audible vowel prolongations (i.e. "Miiiiiiss Aaaaaliiiii"
. He also has a lot of tension in his neck and pitch variations. He is able to produce pseudo prolongations but gets upset when I request that he do so because he knows that is "bumpy" speech (although he doesn't identify true prolongations as "bumpy"
