My goal says something like will produce stridents /f,v,s,z/ with 65% accuracy.
I also explain to the parents/guardians that my aim is not to achieve perfect speech but bring the child up to developmental norms so he/she is near or on par with his/her peers. That is why I aimed for 65% accuracy instead of 80%. Also research has shown that once a child has 65% accuracy, he/she is more likely to generalize it.
