Hi,
I have to do an assessment on an 11 year-old emotionally disturbed student who recently suffered a TBI. He has obvious brain damage, a visual impairment and difficulty walking; however, he continues to display behavior of an ED student (frequent outbursts, low frustration tolerance etc). I have never done an assessment for a child with a TBI and I am not sure which tests to use. He also has ADHD, PTSD, LD and a low reading level.
I've done a little research which indicated that it would still be appropriate to use the EOWPVT, ROWPVT and the CASL, but I am unsure. I am also unsure about how to interpret the results. Would I just speak about strengths and weaknesses rather than to attempt to make comparisons based on chronological age?
