I am working on stridents (f,v,s,z) with a kid now. His f and v are established but he keeps stopping on s.
He can produce /s/ on isolation, but whenever we do silly syllable sounds, he has difficulty and stops on them.
I have tried using a mirror and verbal cues, also tried splitting the /s/ and vowel out and joining them together.
What other things do you do??
