Don't misunderstand, I'm realistic. I've been a harsh critic of RC and the coaching. The players also have a hand in this lack of success.
However, if ever the Spartans had a chance to win a game, this is it. UNLV doesn't isn't as good as last year for some reason.
You have to take into account the disappointment that the three losses: Hawaii, Col. St., Army. Then to come out against SDSU and taking them to the mat when the Aztecs have dominate the Spartans big time the last couple of seasons.
So, that's why I'm encouraged. It's not a given that the Spartans will win. They will win ONLY if they play even harder than they did against SDSU.
The coaches also have to have some guts and show some faith in the young men.
Josh Love is getting better, and if Odum lets the D play more aggressively, there is a chance.
