It reminds me of the RC mantra "iron sharpens iron." You can go at it, but that by itself doesn't translate to skill development.
Also, Odum has his LB's sit 6 yards behind the line of scrimmage waiting for the O-line and the FB to run them over. Whenever Odum asks them to attack the line of scrimmage you get tackles behind the line and some hard hits like we saw at times against SDSU.
Oh, and not taking a chance on fourth down, and when you do, using a shotgun formation all the time. Change it up, put the QB under center.
Anyway, I really think the young men can do the job, if they catch the ball, and not push after the whistle.
