They came to fight, and got beat by experience. Sure, Strong is a new HC, but they have had a number of solid years back-to-back. That's why they are a ranked team.
They are a mature team, we are not.
One surprise to me was our secondary did not seem in-sync. I'll leave it to those more schooled in the game to comment, but it seemed to me what we thought was one of our strengths, seemed a bit average. I did not see most of the game, as it coincided with my boy's season opener, so I may have missed something. Thoughts?

: Look, I was there, and all I can say is that
: Aguayo didn't stand out like William Ossai.
: Last year Ossai was put a inside LB and he
: didn't wasn't consistent. This year he's and
: OLB and he made a couple of tackles that
: impressed me, especially when he took on
: Flowers one-on-one.
:
: Maybe Ethan was "in" on 14 tackles
: but not a solo that stood out. I may be
: wrong, he may grow into the position.
: However, Ginda as far as I've observed isn't
: the tackling machine that he is given credit
: for. I've seen far to many times where he
: has been juked and caught flat-footed.
:
: I'm not trying to be negative, just giving
: my honest opinion. I would even try
: Francoise, and Williams at LB. They have
: size and speed and Francoise was a hitter in
: HS. Frank Ginda just doesn't get into the
: hole fast enough he reads too much.
:
: Anyway, I think my original point was that
: the D is better than in years past, and will
: get better. The D will keep SAJU competitive
: in the MW.
