As the game was on Fox Sports 1 at 9am, it was not available real-time on Comcast (tape delayed at 1pm, but in standard definition). I took in the game at Stanley's Sharks Ice...took the family for breakfast. Actually pretty good food. The wife liked the Eggs Benedict. But back to the game...the broadcast didn't show the Spartan sideline much. It was focused on the Iowa State sideline. As usual, they interviewed the Cyclones coach at the end of the 1st half, and only a simple reporter comment from Carragher at beginning of second. The way the game was going, it would only be natural they gave more attention to the Iowa boys.
But on the field you could see many frustrations from quite a few Spartans. They didn't like looking bad. Athleticism was there. Equal to Iowa State. But the scheme and inexperience showed through. Run game looked very good...I was pleasantly surprised, especially with Zigler. I hope they bring that same "run attitude" at New Mexico. Might have been a different story with Potter in the game.
: I don't know how many, but a couple of the
: interceptions were off of tipped passes. I
: thought Josh would do better. I didn't see
: the game it seems Comcast didn't telecast
: it. Can you tell me what the emotion level
: was on the Spartan sideline. I feel there is
: a lack of emotion. The team had better pick
: it up or it will be a long season. The
: players have to dig deep down. Good luck
: against NM!!
