1. Coach has to make some substantial personnel decisions.
A) Move Shane Smith to LB, he's not being utilized enough as a FB, and Chris Dadson can be just as effective. Shane's natural position is LB.
B) Give Brandon Monroe a chance to carry the RB load. Limihi Hifo may have some strength, but not the speed and natural ability that Brandon has at that position.
C) Move Cleveland Wallace to a starting DB. This young man is the real deal! Together he and Jimmy Pruitt can man that position.
2. Give Joe Gray a chance. Caragher can't let his decision to give Blake Jurich the ball affect the bigger picture.
A) Joe Gray looks more comfortable in the pocket.
B) Joe throws a much better ball than Blake. Blake has invested a lot to the program, but he has to realize what's best for the team.
3. Special teams coach has to be given an ultimatum. Improve or take a walk!
A) Kickoff coverage is just as atrocious as last year.
B) Austin Lopez is missing easy FGs.
C) This punter isn't ready for prime time.
4) Jabari Carr has to be given his starting position back.
A) The slot can be shared by Tyler Irvin and Hansel Wilson.
B) Jabari showed at the end of the Auburn game that he is just as good a Tyler Winston, maybe better. He's faster I think.
Anyway, Caragher's weakness is evaluating personnel. He has to man up.
