Another thing that I can't understand is Kenwick Thompson's blitz package. I've seen Minisota, Utah St., UNLV, and now SDSU blitz David Fales and make him run out of the pocket and throw interceptions. Yet, when he blitzes Christian Tago, and Keith Smith somehow they never get to the QB. It seems that it's enough just to run into the OL and make a big pileup in front of the QB, but never really reach him, or chase him out of the pocket. Go back and look at the game film. I mean, the blitz packages the Kenwick throws at the opponent are pathetic!!! I mean, as compared to what the opposing team throws a SJSU.
So, there you have it.
TOTALLY OUT COACHED AGAIN!!!!!
Caragher had a chance to run it down their throats. 2nd and 1 yd. to go, inside the opponents 39 yard line, and he let's his OC get cute with and over the middle screen and some other stupid play. Then SDSU makes a big play and changes the momentum.
It's hard to swallow.
Caragher is a weak! If you listen to him talk he isn't as confident as coach Mac presented himself. Caragher had better get himself some "balls" and start making some real decisions, and be a leader.
Still David Fales did miss some open receivers. He's just not on his game.
However, this game was lost by the coaching staff. They have to admit that, and get better. I suggest the Caragher get a more savvy DC to start. The oC is okay but I still don't think he's ready for prime time. The DC isn't ready for this level of play.
And the Special teams. They were terrible. SDSU is very fast, and SJSU just couldn't get down the field and make a tackle inside the 20.
If you noticed SDSU never let SJSU run back a kickoff past the 30. These coaches suck!!!!!
