I read the article posted on the Bleacher Report about David Fales being the most intriguing QB in college football because he's defying the trend of dual-threat QBs like RGIII and Colin Kapernic, and instead is a pro-style pocket passer. I guess they forgot about Andrew Luck. Anyway, two things that left me in awe. 1: he participated as a counselor in a HS Elite 11 camp along with the top BCS QBs. One was Johnny Football. It also included a head-to-hear competition between the counselors. Our David Fales came out on top. He beat them all. He had the best score of 5 different events. 2: There was a video of highlight of the Military Bowl. Bowling Green looked like a very good defensive team: big, strong, tackled well. However, they must have been crazy by the end of the game because Fales played what i think is one of the greatest game a Spartan QB ever has, or ever will play. He put the ball on target on almost every throw, with only the slightest margin of error. Defenders saw the ball fly past them merely millimeters from their fingertips rig into the hands of Noel Grigsby, Chandler Jones, Ryan Otten, and Kyle Nunley. Yes its the best I ever saw. Too think that he could be better this year, he's stronger and more fit, makes me think that the Spartans have a chance at the MWC title. David will do hi part. It's up the OL,a nd the D to make sure they do their part. I believe they will because David will boost their confidence, and with a certain amount team chemistry, this should be a fun season.
