Now that we have Jurich on film, work in a few tricks as well like a pass out of that formation. In addition, a couple more different runs as well as having Jurich and Fales in there at the same time. Like Fales said after the game, it is just the little things they need to work on but he did say when they executed the game plan, they moved the ball. Coaches, let’s work on offensive execution this week please. Timing is still a little off.
On D, not much to say other than to tighten up the coverage on the corners and a little more pressure on the QB. The pressure will help the DB's out but still way too much space when lining up on the outside WR's. We need to also mirror the turn over production from last year. I know we didn't get any turn overs against Stanford last year as well but that needs to happen to have the season we all hope to see.
Overall, I was happy with the effort and think there is still a lot of room to improve. With the game we played and the improvement I suspect the team still has in them, they can and will be very good. The nice part I got out of the game is that I think that was by far not the best performance they are capable of. Let’s go on and Beat Davis by 40 by scoring early and often so we can get some backups in in the 4th qtr.

: David Fales is going to a good qb, maybe a
: great one! If this Spartan team can create
: some chemistry on D they will be bowl
: eligible, and if David hits his stride, the
: Spartans will be a very attractive at-large
: team to bowl officials.
