We've gone to this game every year and represent as best we can as Spartan "traveling" fan's. I agree with you about the tree's. I watched the Stanford spring game and if people think they are going to be weaker due to the loss of Luck and the personell losses on O-line are going to be in for a rude awakening. They were good, USC type good, maybe even better. The only way to not get blown out in this game is to get into a "shoot out" and match score for score because they are going to score, a lot. If the thinking is keep it close and win it in the fourth quarter I'm afraid that's not going to happen and could get ugly. You could get away with that thinking with a "lesser" opponent but not with a machine like that. Just go out and go to work, chopping down the tree and keep chopping away until you can't chop anymore. Start fast and finish strong and hopefully the scoreboard when the clock says 0:00 at the end of the fourth quarter we have more than they do.
