That's the best news I've heard in a long time. IMO, in order to produce, at least a semblance of stability, the president's need to make a statement and soon, perception is everything. The current perception is that the ship's captain has run the ship aground and jumped to another ship while the ship is sinking, which is not the case. The WAC can thrive under fresh new leadership that has the success of the conference as a whole as the main priority so ALL of the school's succeed together not just 1 of them. Benson may think he is slick but I doubt the Sunbelt will put up with any of his tactics after the crap he pulled in the WAC. The Sunbelt appears to be safe as long as it does not involve BSU. Next item on the agenda should be to dissolve the WAC of Boise's olympic's.
