It looks like Cory Murphy, Wilcox HS QB (6-2, 180), will attempt to walk-on at SJSU next year.
Cory is a dual-threat QB: passing for 1800 yards and rushing for 800 yards. He threw for 17 TDs and rushed for another 6 TDs. He's a solid athlete who also plays basketball (power forward) for the Chargers. Did not play defense in HS, but I can see him play safety or WLB. But it be nice to see if he can progress as a QB.
