Their season stands at 4-10 but don’t be deceived. I believe this is a good team that has yet to find themselves. Listen to the teams they’ve played: Riverside, Cal, Oregon State, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and Gonzaga. These are all very good to great programs and I think the boys in blue will be tested again Tuesday. Hey, I might make this one; no games of my own to worry about. Should be a good one.
Let’s talk some stats here. The Dons are led by senior OF Zach Kim who is hitting .418 which is well above everyone else on the team which bats an overall .250 with little power. Their best pitcher appears to be junior RHP Doug Murray with a record of 2-0 and an ERA of 2.53 in 21 IP. I suspect he’s a starter since he leads the team in IP and has that lovely SO to BB ratio of 24 to 4. Wondering if we will see him? The rest of the staff has not fared so well as the team has an ERA of 5.40.
