Mississippi State 3 - Hawaii 1
In a well-played game, which was the only game played yesterday in the WAC, the 8-1 Bulldogs (gads, they’re everywhere!) beat the 3-6 Hawaii squad. I think they’re also the bulldogs, no? Are two dogs in the WAC enough? Anyway, things to note were the close game, Mississippi State improves to 8-1, Hawaii got some much-needed good pitching from Jayson Kramer a senior from Kaneohe (I’ve always loved that name), AND, there were over 2200 fans in the stands.
I think Hawaii and Fresno are going to lead the league in attendance. Any comments here? When I do go to Spartan games I’m always astounded by how few fans there are but I guess that’s fairly typical of most programs. I’d like comments here but you must realize that most of us know that the powerhouses will always get good attendance figures and that doesn’t need to get thrown in our face. I want to know why there is so much apathy for college baseball, IN GENERAL? How off base am I, if at all?
