IMO the BCS conferences (with the possible exception of the PAC-10) and the MWC are never going to do anything to help the WAC or SJSU. The long term goal of the MWC is to kill the WAC as a division 1A football conference; therefore, making them and the PAC-10 the only Western 1A football conferences. The MWC never has (and never will) have the best interest of the WAC or college football in mind. The current BCS is not ideal; however, it’s probable the best option for the WAC at this time. Any attempt to overall the system will most likely result in an attempt to lower the number of division 1A football teams to about 84 teams (SJSU would not be one).
