I have said previously that I hope to see a lot more work on offensive execution and timing. The offense is always way behind the "D" and most teams don't seem to have that much disparity. Tomey has stated that he wants to hit more this spring and summer but I feel that allowing the kids to run plays over and over will be the best thing to help this new offense gel. The toughness will take care of itself. By running the timing patterns over and over, it will also help the new "D" backfield get up to speed on coverage’s. I would also like to see many different plays run from the same formations unlike the last few years and that all takes many, many reps.
Lastly, I feel the excess hitting during the spring and summer camps the last few seasons has contributed to our injury issues. Please coach Tomey, work the guys hard but don't over do it on the hitting.

: Rivals.com showed that it started on 3/9 but

: Wow, that's sooner than I thought it would
: be. What should we be looking for at Spring
: drills? I would think the make-up of the
: guys working at defensive backfield
: positions would be of greatest interest.
: What do others think?
