And -- school alone is around 500K (room, board, tuition, books, etc is about 50K per student). However when you consider the actual athletic cost per player - travel, equipment, uniforms, training, food, personal guidance, etc (we all know that athletes get much more attention than us regular students), then the cost is closer to about 100K per scholarship player (for all sports).
