I agree with Rick. That's what JC players should do. They come in as juniors (usually) so they need to be ready to go, now. Looks like our RB situation is in good hands. Finally, a strong RB with some speed; not exactly a burner but can break away. Muldrow at HB, so good there. Jones, Richmond, and now Avery. I'm not much for watching film of a kid when he was 12 or whatever but, watching him run away from what appear to be midget DBs was pretty impressive. The matchups looked unfair. I'm thinking Owens as a young receiver with the 49ers before he had an attitude transplant. Driver? I don't know much about him other than it sure sounds good. I'm glad (proud?) that the Spartans kept after him after others dropped interest when he blew out his knee. How serious was it? I see him being more like Francies than Owens but either would be fine. A very good get. Now, think of the last two years and field goal kicking. Not good memories right? I think the kid from Sunnyvale could be the guy from day one for the next four years. Other newcomers are pretty young so I still see them coming in only on certain downs and situations rather than starting. Orth (sp?) intrigues me. Small school dominator so he has a lot to prove but I love possession receivers.
