My dad tells me that one of your sons is an LT. here is Bahrain. I have been looking for him, but have not seen him yet. Its a little hard looking for one specific LT. considering there are so many officers here. I'm mostly at the Harbor working so I see the main people there.

: No conflict Mike,
:
: Just root for a good game knowing a team
: that you like won. I spent four years going
: to Army-Navy football games when my son was
: a Mid there. Now I have one playing at SJS.
: I was in the Navy for 22 years, so I can
: appreciate your problem, but as much as I
: can't root against Navy I'll sure be rooting
: for the Spartans.

: SJSU football: A look at future schedules
:
: (hello, Trojans … and Devils .. and Bruins)
: By Jon Wilner
:
: San Jose State has filled most of its
: non-conference slots for the next seven
: years, and I’m guessing that Sparta will be
: happy with the results.
:
: The Spartans have a nice mix of marquee
: opponents and games SJSU could/should win.
:
:
: For SJSU fans, the biggest name will
: undoubtedly be USC (in 2009), but the
: biggest story should be Navy.
:
: That’s partly because of the allure of
: playing a service academy, partly because
: SJSU and Navy will play four times: twice at
: Spartan Stadium, twice in Annapolis.
:
: Dick Tomey was friendly with former Navy
: Coach Paul Johnson and knows Johnson’s
: replacement well: Ken Niumatalolo played for
: Tomey at Hawaii, so there’s a natural
: connection.
:
: Other thoughts on the 2008-14 schedules:
:
: * Finances were important, but not critical.
: The athletic department is in better shape
: fiscally than it was a few years ago, so
: athletic director Tom Bowen was not backed
: into the “body-bag game” corner.
:
: “We wanted to make the schedule fair for the
: student-athletes and put ourselves in
: competitive situations,” Bowen said.
:
: “The finances were not the driving force
: behind the schedule.”
:
: * Tomey and Bowen wanted to schedule as many
: western opponents as possible, mostly for
: recruiting purposes but also because it’s
: easier/cheaper for SJSU fans.
:
: That means Arizona St. and Southern
: California, plus dates against Mountain West
: schools.
:
: * While all the Stanford games are scheduled
: for Stanford Stadium, the Spartans might try
: to move one or more to Spartan Stadium, the
: thinking being:
:
: If it’s the Bill Walsh Legacy Game,
: shouldn’t it be played at his alma mater
: every few years?
:
: * There is no movement on the Cal front.
: Tomey and Jeff Tedford discussed a possible
: series a while back, but SJSU has not heard
: from the Bears since the fall.
:
: “I’m assuming their silence means they are
: not interested,” Bowen said.
:
: * Of the 28 slots available over the next
: seven years, SJSU has filled 23. So there
: are a few holes in what you’re about to see,
: especially six and seven years out (that’s
: not uncommon in the football scheduling
: business).
:
: Look for those openings to be filled by the
: likes of Sacramento State/Poly/Davis or
: Mountain West teams.
:
: *** 2008
:
: Aug. 30: vs. UC Davis
: Sept. 6: at Nebraska
: Sept. 13: vs. San Diego State
: Sept. 20: at Stanford
: Comment: Good year to play Nebraska.
:
: *** 2009
:
: at USC
: vs Utah
: at Stanford
: vs. Cal Poly
: Comment: Playing the Trojans, even if it’s a
: blowout, brings exposure/recruiting
: benefits.
:
: *** 2010
:
: at Arizona State
: at Stanford
: at Utah
: Comment: Will Dennis Erickson still be at
: ASU? Heck, will Tomey still be at SJSU?
:
: *** 2011
:
: at UCLA
: at Stanford
: at Colorado State
: vs. Navy (Nov. 19)
: Comment: Doesn’t get much better than this.
: (Navy is the Saturday before Thanksgiving.)
:
: *** 2012
:
: at Stanford
: at Navy
: vs. Colorado State
: Comment: SJSU-Colorado State is
: home-and-home, not a two-for-one.
:
: *** 2013
:
: at Stanford
: at Minnesota
: vs. Navy
: Comment: Minnesota will be SJSU’s first game
: in a Big Ten stadium since 2005 (Illinois).
:
: *** 2014
:
: at Navy
: at Minnesota
: Comment: The 2015-17 schedules include a
: series with Iowa State.
