I was wearing one of my Spartan Football Tee shirts and while at a home improvement store this weekend in Long Beach, a man stopped me and made a kind comment about the Spartans. He said his son played at SJS for a season under Fitz and transferred to Washington. I asked his name and it was Roy Lewis. I told him I remembered his brief stay with the Blue and gold and asked how he was doing. Mr. Lewis said he had a good career at Washington and was hoping to get a look in the draft and is on schedule to graduate. Nice to hear he is doing well.
