After our 1776 Revolution (catch "John Adams" on HBO this Sunday evening), we tossed out British spelling and have been using the American versions. Here in the U.S. it's spelled Defense....except for those fans in stadiums carrying illustrated props.
I'd say a 29 pointe scoring average would be to our advantage.
