And why is he claiming to be a former San Jose State QB?
I noticed an article online which mentioned that the Youngstown(OH) Thunder, of the AFL2, had signed former San Jose State QB Joe Micco.
Funny thing though, I've never heard of him. I've been following SJSU Football pretty closely for over 20 years, and for the past 10 years have kept my own database of each year's roster. Nowhere in my database or collective memory is the name Joe Micco.
It turns out, Joe Micco played QB for Menlo College. So, it's possible he might have attended some classes at SJSU. But, he never was on the Spartans' roster.
Despite not ever being a member of the Spartans doesn't prevent ol' Joe from claiming SJSU has his own. The attached link is Joe's highlight video on Youtube, that he himself apparently posted. Right at the beginning he names San Jose State as his school.
Nice to know adding SJSU to one's resume is an embelishment for a professional QB.
