Fitz was naive in that he thought some of the kids that he gave scholarships to would suddenly become students. Had he had more time I doubt that he would have continued to be that charitable. He was a good man and I think his social consciosnous sometimes got in the way of good recruiting decisions. He was young and inexperienced but had a good heart and I don't think he deserves the bashing that he gets on this board sometimes.
