Tomey said running back was not a concern for this year's recruiting class. Even without Yonus Davis, the Spartans are in good shape at running back.
We actually did sign two new running backs. Brandon Rutley and Peyton Thompson will both be true freshmen this year.

Davis, Yonus (5-7, 185) SR (Pending NCAA decision)
Callier Jr, James (6-0 / 220) SR (Can play FB too)
Perry, Patrick (5-10 / 205) JR (out until Fall)
Reese, Chris (5-9 / 205) JR (Tomey is sky high on Reese)
Hunsucker, Dominique (5-9 / 194) JR (Tomey said he will play running back and nickel)
Island, Cameron (5-9 / 187) JR - (Played hurt in 2007)
Collins, Cameron (5-10 / 182) RFR
Rutley, Brandon (5-10 / 190) FR (Word is he is realy good)
Thompson, Peyton (6-0 / 170) FR (Very fast)
