Fullerton (CA) College
This past season, Avery broke the Fullerton single game reception record when he caught 15 passes for 161 yards and 3 TD's against College of the Canyons. Just like David Richmond, Avery is a converted basketball player. He did not play football for Fullerton his first year out of Savanna High in Anaheim. He set the Fullerton record in only his second collegiate game.
