ESPN Evaluation:
“Liana flashes ability at both fullback and linebacker, he could even project as a tight end. He doesn't possess great size at either position but blends his physical play and speed to become a solid football player and potential playmaker. Runs hard as a fullback and makes subtle moves at the line to avoid defenders and find a seam. Flashes the ability to get the corner and accelerate with straight-line speed. Runs with good shoulder lean and seems to possess a strong lower body. We like his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and make plays in space. He possesses soft hands and can make grabs on the run. Has a knack for weaving through traffic and finding space on boot passes. Plays tough and seems durable. However, we have yet to see his blocking ability showcased, and he currently does not have the elite speed or elusiveness to be a tail or one back. On defense, he demonstrates the skill to close on the football and play with good short-range closing speed. Displays a burst on occasion to get to the sideline and plays downhill with good pursuit angles. Sifts through the wash with some fluidity and shows good instincts finding the open gap. He punishes ball carriers and is a hardnosed linebacker. Active in pass coverage, showing good athleticism and ability to cover open space. However, he is overaggressive at times with his run/pass reads and needs to show the ability to play under control on a consistent level. Liana is a rugged football player who has some hidden finesses. Has ability to add bulk, keep athleticism and improve blocking to become an asset at fullback.”
