The following was in this morning's Santa Cruz Sentinel:
FOOTBALL
Three county players have college visits slated for this weekend. Cabrillo College safety Kevin Davis will visit Akron, Seahawks quarterback Harlan Prather will visit Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo and Santa Cruz High linebacker Quinn Garner will visit San Jose State.
Garner has already received offers from Utah State, San Jose State and Sacramento State.
Garner was Santa Cruz County Defensive POY.
Davis is the son of ex-49er cornerback Eric Davis. He has been connected to SJSU in past media reports, but I haven't read about an offer to him from Tomey.
Prather is the brother of Waylon. He is also a punter, but reportedly really wants to play QB at the next level.
Now that SLO has signed Logan Budd, I wonder if they are looking for a JC transfer.
