I think there are a couple reasons Fresno has a higher APR then SDSU and SJS. A couple you mentioned regarding the support system the better academic student athletes and not recruiting as many JC players but they also red shirt and greyshirt more kids which gives them more time and a head start to the academic challanges and that Pat Hill has been there for as long as he has with his academic philosophy. We are making big improvements but Fitz had us so far down that it is taking time to work our way out of the pit we were in. You also have to remember that 20 or so players left the program and presumably school early when Tomey came in and that counts against us as well. I beleive just counting Tomey's recruts that we are above the 925 mark and have been since he came in. If we keep that up, we should be out of the woods in a year or two.
