This is exactly why it is not a good idea to let everyone know who you are recruiting especially if you are a non-bcs school. The big guys go through the commit lists and cherry pick whomever they want. When Baldwin was coaching we had a couple of 4 star linebackers from Butte CC who had committed to us and Iowa State came along and stole them from us. Commitments don't mean anything anymore.
