Another prospect that committed elsewhere over the weekend is Los Gatos RB Nick Kalpin. He has committed to Portland State. He really wanted to play for SJSU, but Tomey never offered. It's probably just as well for Kalpin. I'm sure he will be much more successful there than he would have been playing a more reduced role at a D-1A school.
