Article on June Jones leaving Hawaii for SMU stated that he was going to a weaker conference (C-USA) than the WAC. I felt that last year (2006) we were definitely stronger than the MWC. This year we were even except for the dismal bowl showings of our conference teams, except for Fresno State. It is probably a long shot, but I am hoping the WAC will have another team in a BCS bowl game again in 2008. The BCS money is significant and a financial bonanza to our program.
