If we threw in the Judo national championships (46??) we would vault in to the area of the Big east. I know that for political reasons those championships have been relegated to club level. But we all know why that happened. Obviously, if the school named a building after the coach and the state legislature and the Japanese government all honored the paid San Jose State athletics' department coach, those teams were a lot more than just "club" sports. --Previous Message-- : : : :
