One was a WR that SJSU had interest in but the other kid isn't connected to SJSU (but maybe he should have been).

"...Chuck Walker, 5-foot-10, 185-pound wide receiver, from Laney College in Oakland, Calif. The native of Hayward, Calif., had 56 receptions for over 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns last season.
He has been timed with 4.4 speed in the 40-yard dash and was rated three stars by Scout.com. Walker chose Marshall over California, Hawaii, San Jose State and New Mexico State. He will enroll in for the spring semester at Marshall and participate in spring practice.
Andre Portis, 6-3, 240 outside linebacker, from College of San Mateo in San Mateo, Calif. The native of Cleveland, Ohio, is rated as one of the top five linebackers in junior college by Rivals.com. He chose Marshall over 10 other scholarship offers from schools such as California, Minnesota, Colorado State and Temple. He also will enroll for the spring semester."
