In order to urge more SJS Fans to support the Spartan Foundation (SF) during the fund drive I wanted to show how easy it was for any Spartan Fan to donate to the SF. I posted that if you give up one cup of coffe every other day at McDonalds,which is $1.00, you then could afford to give the SF $162.00/year Hence:
I will always sign that way to keep reminding SJS Fans that we MUST, I REPEAT MUST, raise $3M by 2009 or lose D1A Atheletic status.Incidently, the little quip"one cup...." brought in 11 new members, but we are going to need many more donors needed to reach $3M by 2009 in order to retain D1A Athletic Status at SJS. This year $1.5m
was raised, twice as much as in 2005. But as you see we have a long way to go..
