Actually, I was asked to sum it up in two words, but I asked for a third. While the defense made a few mistakes, and had some issues with not wrapping up on tackles, a lot of those came about once fatigue began to set in. Easily the most glaring issue with this team is the O-line's inability to run block. We're talking no holes whatsoever. What little yardage Hunsucker got, he earned on his own. As was said by someone else tonight, it's scary to see how far this team has dropped off from the end of last year. I think the general bad feelings tonight from Spartan fans had more to do with how we lost, rather than the fact we lost. So, this week, no postives to speak of. No silver lining. Nothing really to show for tonight's game. My guess is Utah State will be favored by 3 next week. Well, at least the tailgating was fun.
