I think a major roadblock to that is any coach that makes a name at SJSU will be looking to upgrade to a BCS conference school. Not only for name recognition and career advancement, but for the money. Michigan will soon be looking for a new coach. They can easily pay $3-4 mil/year without getting anywhere close to the general fund of the school. What will it take for SJSU to get anywhere near that level, and do any of you truly believe it's realistic?
