Nevada 21 - Northwestern 20
Just because I think Northwestern's not as good as they looked against a Div. II team, and Nevada's not as crummy as they looked against Nebraska
Locker (QB) is most of Huskies' offense, and Boise could put up 42 on Syracuse, too.
This week's answer to ASU-SJSU
If 21 is all the Bulldogs could put up against Cal Poly . . . (that said, I can't get my computer to follow "Fresno St." with a single-digit number)
I'm convinced Idaho looked tough against USC because the Trojans couldn't get up for the game.
I know this gets me laughed off the site and maybe even suspended from posting for awhile, but I don't think we've totally reverted to 2005 form -- it's just the inexperience at safety, OL, and WR that are killing us. I predict we have more creative play calling, establish a running game (yes, I know Auburn couldn't clear 70 yards, but hey, they don't have Yonus!), our WRs run better routes and catch the ball more consistently, and Lowery, Owens, and Hunsucker all intercept KSU's inept QB (17 picks vs. 6 TDs in his college career!). OK, I'm done now. Just let me dream, you realists. SJSU rebounds.
The Aggies pass all day.
The Rainbows pass all day, but it's in LA, so I give the other Bulldogs more credit than they're probably worth.
