As the game moved on, I kept turning to my brother and saying Tomey was playing a lot of people tonight to get them some game experience. As I said on another thread, I think secretly, Tomey was happy to be able to get a look at some of the young guys and maybe hold out guys, like Paysinger, that are banged up a bit. I think I heard that had this been a big WAC game or a bowl game that Paysinger could have played and that Yonus could have come back in. Tomey wants a WAC title or at least a better showing and wants to be ready for the long haul. I know he would have rather been up by three scores but by having a blow out as it was it was more convenient for him to bring in second and third stringers then if the score was tight.
