As much as Tomey would like a win, I think he wants a WAC championship more and will look at a lot of players and combinations our first two games. By the third game of the season against Stanford, Tomey will have a good idea who he will be relying on for the rest of the season at most positions. I too do not expect us to win on Saturday but hope to see us play a good mistake free game and also allow the coaching staff to solidify the positions. If we can keep our “D” off the field at least well into the third quarter, and keep it close into the forth, we will have a shot. I think it will take a defensive TD, and at least a +3 in the turn over department and scoring at least 2 TD’s and a field goal off of each. Adam will have to have a Washington type game and the running game will need to be much more productive then against Washington to pull out the W.
