Posted by bambi2godzilla on 8/11/2007, 12:55 pm July 30, 2007 ARGOS ADD IMPORT WR JAMALL BROUSSARD The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of import WR Jamall Broussard to a practice roster agreement. Broussard made his mark in 2004 as a member of the Carolina Panthers of the NFL, playing in eight games as a feature kick returner. The San Jose State product finished amongst the top 10 in NFC kickoff returns with a 23.1-yard average and totalled 24 kickoff returns for 555 yards. He most recently spent time with the Cologne Centurions of NFL Europa where he recorded 24 catches for 262 yards and also added 188 yards on kick/punt returns. The sure-handed receiver played two seasons at San Jose State, where he generated 1,396 receiving yards. Before joining San Jose State, Broussard attended the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California, for a season after transferring from Texas Tech where he played his freshman year as a member of the Red Raiders.

All the Broussard focus has been on John of late but brother Jamall appears to have latched on in Canada. Maybe the best news of all is that Jamall earned his B.A. while at SJSU. It's in public relations.
