In 1963 the Spartans played the Oregon Ducks with Mel Renfro and Bob Berry. The game played in Eugene. We pulled off a great upset of the nationally ranked University or Oregon team. My roomates and I were there and almost had to fight our way out of the stadium. It was a great win for the Spartans over an outstanding pac 10 school.
