The answer: "It's not a big deal. Coach Tomey expects us to win anyway." "These are really nice, but they are also all about last season."

The team received their New Mexico Bowl rings today. The ring is gold with a blue football shaped stone with the canoe man on top. The ring top is engraved with "SJSU" and "Spartans". The left side includes the players last name, the team record (9-4) and the Spartan Head and the player's # inside a football. The right side is engraved 2006, Bowl Logo, and "Champions" and the score: 20-12
