The feeling of exhaustion fully started to set in now that the whole ordeal was over with. Annwn still nursed happily, wagging her tails with earth embedded in it. She could only help but smile, knowing that her daughter will always have earth. Like she always had water. It will protect her forever. She thought of Icarus - her only true father. How he had taught her and accepted her. For a moment she wondered why he hadn't shown up yet, he seemed to have foal radar implanted into his brain. But the thought left her as she felt a familiar mind somewhere in the distance. Somewhere distracting someone with colored air and flashes of rainbows. A weak smile creased her lips as she thought of the speckled mare. Even at the edge of nowhere she knew at least her daughter would have someone to grow up with. And who better than the daughter of her friend? Yes, her friend. It wasn't a sentiment the painted mare gave so freely. However, she felt it was right now. It was ok to call someone else friend. She lifted her head as she heard them approach. Hesper first, of course. It was only natural. She gently brushed her daughters back and the filly turned away from her meal. She was getting rather full by now anyway. She lifted her head, her green and gray eyes were so...different. So haunting. So unlike her mother's. The tall mare bumped her muzzle against Hesper, "This is Annwn." The filly wiggled her creamy tail and stared, doe-eyed, at the slightly older filly. She could only mumble and gargle something that resembled a sound. Oceantree turned her gaze towards the other mare now. The smile on her lips grew wider as she thought. Yes, perhaps this time and only this time, she would listen to the thoughts of her friend. Frankly she didn't really have the strength to filter them out at the moment anyway. Meanwhile the soft gold filly tried to jump around. Watching Hesper. Mimicking her. Only to fall down and startle Oceantree at the same time. She looked up at her mom, smiling, before clambering back up on all fours.
