It made her feel better for some reason. She didn't understand, but something was different. Something she would soon see. Cain rested gently against her side. His red fur brushed against her black. He tried to comfort her weary heart but it was to no avail. Suddenly his ears swiveled. Hearing the voice as if in his own head. He was in Oceantree's after all. She was oblivious to it. Perhaps even ignoring it. Longing for that alone time. Even though somewhere in the shadows a small filly hid and the red maned wolf was at her side - she was never really alone anymore. The pressure from Cain's nose made her pay attention. Hearing her name she only sighed to the wind. She looked at Cain and he was off, gone to shadows and forests. She jumped from the cliff she so readily adopted as her home. Wings sprout from her back in a flurry of feathers. Her face becomes long and sharp. An eagle's scream escapes her lips as she dives towards the valley of Andarin. Her talons hit the grass and she looked for the source of the voice. Seeing the mare in her mind. Soon there was a black and white mare in the place of the golden eagle. She moved towards the desert scented mare. "Why?" She stopped in front of her. She obviously did not introduce herself, nor did she need the mare too. "And do not say 'because Lycoris told me too'." A weak smile crossed her lips as she said this. Somewhere in shadows, Cain was with the child.
